"I'm iXce from Compiz Fusion ; Danny (maniac103) and I gave a shot at Compiz's switcher accessibility concerns which were raised here (namely switcher doesn't let you jump to panels and orca doesn't speak when using Compiz switcher), and we think we got them both fixed (in commits http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/app/compiz.git;a=commit;h=183712d9c3994715444638e29cb20ed05f5dc2de, http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/app/compiz.git;a=commit;h=6884b4858b8f9a51e298e4b169328e1462dea099 and http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/app/compiz.git;a=commit;h=f3393feae95cdb7d47de094c3d38d277e546eeb1) We had to cp the orca/scripts/metacity.py to ~/.orca/orca-scripts/gtk-window-decorator.py, and orca magically worked :) (I'm not sure on how to add this system-wide (we had first tried to just cp metacity.py to gtk-window-decorator.py but Orca wouldn't grab it), but I'm sure you will :))" I have not had time to test this myself, Will Brian Cameron wrote: > Erwann: > >>> Before I enabled Compiz, I was able to switch between the bottom panel >>> and the desktop by hitting Ctrl-Alt-Tab.
