Thank you, this was something I was not sure about after the bug that
I encountered.

@Padraig
>Can you tell me what authorities you had when you could?

As far as I remember:
* I had a clean install of OpenSolaris 2008.11.
* I added the following authorities dev, extra, contrib leaving the
default authority at opensolaris.org
* Update Manager indicated that build 105 was available and I updated
all packages
* After that the situation was as I described earlier and as described
in the bug report
* I changed the default authority to dev and updated all available
packages to 105 (again?) after that everything seemed fine

One thing I am noticing right now is that I have two entries in my
package manager for the same package. I have authority dev selected
and for example package "entire" and "gcc-dev" are appearing twice.
If I click on the selected i.e. installed package first version info
shows me b105, if I then click on the not selected package version
info still shows me b105.
If I do the same thing for a different package with two entries and
click on the NOT selected package first it shows me b106 and if I then
click on the selected package it also shows me b106, not updating the
information in the Package Name tab at the bottom.
So this is definitely fishy.

Hope this helps you track down any bugs, please let me know should you
need more info.
