Yes, these are exactly how I have them.

Not really.  A firefox process does get spawned, but it dies
quickly (i.e., before I can attach a debugger to it).

No, no errors -- checking the needs_terminal "on" does
successfully spawn firefox3.0rc1 with the desired URL!
This is even more interesting.  What could the cause
of the difference in behavior be?
