Tracker do use gamin to monitor files.

If you turn on Tracker and use the default configuration, the files
under $HOME will be monitored. Normally, that will be a long monitor
list for gamin.

I saw Lin did some performance tuning on gamin recently. We bump tracker
to 0.6.6 in spec-files trunk, there are bunch of changes in it.

So please give a try if you have time. If the performance is still low,
please fill bugs against gamin or tracker.

Thanks,
Halton.
