I'd say that an OpenSolaris spec file maintainer shouldn't need to worry about the manpage in SGML format. Instead the maintainer should just work with the module maintainers to make sure the manpage and other documentation is accurate and of good quality, in whatever format the module uses. It will likely be up to someone at Sun to actually deal with the SGML conversion. Though if a spec-file maintainer wanted to help with this also, it would (of course) be appreciated. I'd prefer to OpenSolaris module maintainers to work more with the projects directly, and do as little work as possible to meet Sun-specific requirements. I think, however, the OSR related questions have general value, not just to Sun. So I think it makes sense to require the module maintainer to collect that information and make sure the spec file has the right information regarding this, etc. Brian
