Yeah, sorry. I tried that. The error message I get is: /usr/bin/gdm failed with status 1 Which is no wonder since gdm is located under /usr/sbin/. I tried and copied gdm over to /usr/bin/ but it did not change the error message. BTW: Where are the configuration files of gdm? I have no /etc/X11/gdm/. This message posted from opensolaris.org
