This looks like something is wrong with the media you have.  You clearly
shouldn't have missing libraries on the liveCD.

As for dropping to console login, that indicates that either we don't
support the graphics card you have (we support NVIDIA, but not older
NVIDIA chipsets) or it's just more image corruption holding you up.

I'd verify that you have a valid copy of the liveCD (verify md5sums),
try the liveCD on another machine (or even in virtualization like
virtualbox or vmware).  For the graphical login issue, once you know you
have valid media you can try to setup using vesa.
