Well, that made no difference.  It did eliminate the MSI interrupt for
pcieb_intr_handler, but still the machine powered down when I
attempted to play the first audio CD.

I also did a Live Upgrade to snv124be to see if that improved things.
I had to disable MSI interrupts in audiohd.conf to prevent the gdm
login GUI from freezing.  It still powered down when I inserted an
audio CD.

I never had this problem with snv122be and earlier builds.  How can I
identify the cause?  The CD/DVD drive is on the ide bus.  The two
disks are on a SATA controller.  They don't seem to have problems.
