I have not followed this thread a whole lot, and I assume someone has already asked this question, but I'll just just in case...
Have you tried a different power supply in this box? I have had a number of white-box fails where the output on a particular line of the power supply was weak and the box would run great until you did some specific thing (like kick off a mirror sync, and burn a CD at the same time... The worst offender was a supposed 800W power supply that was unable to cope with more than 3 HDDs and a phenom motherboard... Replaced the supply and all was well. My 2c... ;) cheers! Nathan.
