Hi,
As per our previous discussion concerning truncation bugs found during
l10n testing, here is a quick update:
* I've received 3 reports from localizers on leo blockers for truncation
so far: German (1 blocker), Croatian (2 blockers) and Slovak (2
blockers, 1 koi?). Developers and FirefoxOS UX team have been CCed
accordingly (also on some non-blocker - but still important - bugs)
* Bugzilla report, listing status of truncation bugs: http://mzl.la/13RkY9H
* Current status of bugs:
* New bugs that still need action: 173
* Resolved: 60
* Verified: 45
* Current status of locales:
* Still need action: Czech (1 new), Greek (23 new bugs), Hungarian
(20 new), Romanian (15 new), Serbian (23 new), Turkish (8 new), Dutch (1
new), pt-BR (1 new). Some bugs are also listed under components, but we
would need a locale flag under Boot to gecko in order to see them
correctly per locale
* Russian, Polish and Spanish localizers were able to resolve all
their truncation bugs, by finding a workaround (often finding a shorter
term)

The issues that were more often found were of truncated text not
fitting in UI, or text that overlaps, as you can tell by this meta bug

L10n drivers and UX team are currently working on a way to solve these
issues.
