the way FxOs detected the orientation has apparently changed in 1.2  ,

Then Geeksphone realized the Keon acceleration sensor was broken (see
comment 12 of the same bug)

As a side note, it seems to me there was a compilation flag to switch
between the old and the new sensor, but I couldn't find it again.
