.CA lookups are wrong?

If I lookup cbc.ca it comes back as status "taken"

If I lookup asdfasfdddddd.ca it comes back as status "available"

QUESTION:

Why does a lookup of "toronto.ca" come back as "available" when the WHOIS
says it is UNAV
