I attempted to arrange voice communication, and received no response at all. You aren't making a point about my claims, you're reinforcing the fact that he doesn't communicate.

To this Paul no doubt gave no response. I did not ask that he immediately - OR EVER - accept the patch. I asked whether or not he understood and agreed with the concepts involved. Given that I sent a copy of that e-mail to this list for your reference and you have managed to completely ignore it and misrepresent it ... wow, you've got some serious honesty issues. A simple note that he saw the patch and needed some time to look into the issue would have been appropriate and understandable. A generic response that doesn't even acknowledge the questions I posed in my message to him isn't acceptable. Last of all, I'm not the only person he's ignoring. He's ignoring everyone that points out that the system is badly structured and doesn't permit lots of realistic changes. Every time I post I get DOZENS of e-mail messages from other people that he ignores, suggesting that its time we split the source tree and go another way without him. Given that I sent a copy of the message to this list, and then you turned around completely misrepresented it as if it didn't exist (when it is sitting in front of everyone here) who exactly is lying? And you have a copy of all the communication between us. You'll note that I was never rude. And unlike what you have made up in your head, I never demanded anything. I waited 4 full business days before I wrote to this list. Now that you've repeatedly shown us that you can't read the information sitting right in front of you, and feel no real obligation to stick to reality when you write -- is there any chance I can convince you to stick with the truth, and start trying to help resolve the problems so that everyone who uses this code can benefit? I'm working on something that benefits everyone here. If you'll put your ego aside and focus on reality (and prompt Paul to actually respond) maybe we can accomplish something.
