I think it's a pretty great idea and it's one people immediately think
of. However, as those articles explain in detail, it's also a far from
realistic idea. Meanwhile, HTTPS exists, is widely deployed, works,
and is the focus of this thread. Whether we can achieve similar
guarantees through DNS at some point is orthogonal and is best
discussed elsewhere:
