Before there is a lot of discussion here, I would like to see an explanation of how this is a layout issue. David Baron made the assertion that this is a content handling issue, and thus outside the jurisdiction of the Camino team, but I'm having a hard time understanding how our user agent could be construed to affect the handling of any given web content.
If people want to discuss whether their opinion is that it's a good idea or not, in an academic sense, that's fine, but if the discussion is going to be framed in terms of whether or not we are allowed to make this change, someone first needs to provide a compelling argument why the decision of Mike Pinkerton and myself (the Camino module owners) is not relevant. _______________________________________________ dev-tech-layout mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-tech-layout
