Hi Jarek, Thanks for your dedication in helping build Apache Airflow. I’d be interested in helping out with this. At my job we use Airflow for nearly all ETL.
I’m keenly interested in improving docs and conventions around git & dev-ops and Airflow - like how to push to a staging server and production server, how to do hotfixes, how to deploy new code without interrupting any tasks. It would be helpful to have some strong recommendations in the docs b/c these are problems nearly everyone needs to solve. What do you think? --- nick > On Feb 27, 2022, at 09:53, Jarek Potiuk <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hey Everyone @ Airflow community, > > There are new rounds of both: > * Outreachy (we are finishing the current round this week) > * Google Season Of Docs (doc writers helping with improving documentation). > > For both of those we had good experiences in the past and some cool > improvements in Airflow came out of the internships (and will come soon too > from this round of outreachy - both Breeze and Open Telemetry). > > Both require mentors and projects to apply. > > I think those internships are very rewarding and I think all past mentors can > share their experiences and help.
