+1 (non-binding) I've seen this used as a workaround for implementing a cluster policy <https://airflow.apache.org/docs/apache-airflow/stable/administration-and-deployment/cluster-policies.html> when (for whatever reason) modifying airflow_local_settings.py is not possible.
