Dear Airflowers, Following up on the discussion thread regarding the "Updated Provider governance process", originally started on Sept 16th 2025 and generally concluding last week, I would like to call for a vote.
This is motivated by the incoming community requests for adding new providers (aka Integrations) to Apache Airflow, while updating the governance process to ensure maintainability without overloading the maintainers. This also leverages the model initially incorporated for the UI translations work. The actual proposal is documented on the wiki as an AIP and is linked below.
