+1 (binding)

Especially looking forward to broaden the community. I assume details of processes and policies need to be refined when we learn over time. And I am hoping we can keep a monorepo for the time being as splitting apart will add a big level of complexity in tooling in my view.

Dear Airflowers,

Following up on the discussion thread regarding the "Updated Provider
governance process", originally started on Sept 16th 2025 and generally
concluding last week, I would like to call for a vote.

This is motivated by the incoming community requests for adding new
providers (aka Integrations) to Apache Airflow, while updating the
governance process to ensure maintainability without overloading the
maintainers. This also leverages the model initially incorporated for the
UI translations work.

The actual proposal is documented on the wiki as an AIP and is linked
below. This includes the comments, which I believed were important to keep
as a reference.

The vote will run for 5 days and last till Saturday, the 6th of December
2025 23:10 UTC.

Everyone is encouraged to vote, although only PMC members and Committer's
votes are considered binding.

Please regard this as my +1.

Best regards,
Vikram
