Happy to announce that Shahar has volunteered to join our Provider's release team.
While Shahar is not in the PMC (yet), the ASF release process allows to run the release process by committer, it just needs a PMC member to build and sign the packages to upload SVN and later to upload them to PyPI. BTW. In the future with "Apache Trusted Releases" we will remove both steps - i.e. both building and publishing SVN packages and PyPI uploads will be done via ASF infrastructure and will not require a PMC member "doing" it. Thanks to the build reproducibility we have - it will be possible to run the entire release process by a committer - just voting (including reproducibility check) - has to be run by the PMC members. For now I am going to be the PMC "arm" to publish stuff. We updated the https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/AIRFLOW/Release+Plan to reflect it, Also we have experimental Airflow Release Calendar added - this is a Google Calendar where we update planned release dates: * Calendar View https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=c_de214e92df3b759779cb65f3e49e562796c6126e7500cfa7e524bf78186d8b5e%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=Europe%2FWarsaw * iCal https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/c_de214e92df3b759779cb65f3e49e562796c6126e7500cfa7e524bf78186d8b5e%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics We also have a PR (AI generated) script to verify that the page is in-sync with calendar: https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/59142 J.
