I think if we are taking on the responsibility of students then we
need to make everything as smooth as possible for them. It should be
done before or after the students work.

I think there may well be delays to 0.22 anyway, there are still some
P1/P2 issues. On the other hand it presumably means we need new team
setup configs.

As some students may be doing work on GEF and ArgoUML I would hope
that Jason would time GEF svn conversion to coincide with ArgoUML.

Hello all!

A couple of weeks ago I planned the conversion from CVS to Subversion for
somewhere in the beginning of July. This was well after the 0.22 release.

Now someone suggested that it would be a good idea to move it up to have it
done before the Summer of Code work begins. That would mean ASAP.

There is a risk involved that I will not have enough time to rewrite the
build-release scripts and that the 0.22 release is delayed because of this
but I think I can handle it.

What do you think? I guess it will take the Tigris crew between a couple of
days from when we tell them to do it until when it is complete and during
that time, just small work should be going on because there is a risk that
it cannot be commited back if the conversion occurs.

What do you think? Is it a good idea to do this ASAP?
