Yes, the suggestion was before of after. If we plan for after, then there is no rush… I realize now that my question is very short-sighted. It is more or less, shall we do it immediately or wait indefinitely (until August…).

OK. No-one seems very enthusiastic about doing it immediately so then I will plan it for after the Summer of Code ends then…

I think the suggestion was before OR AFTER the Google Summer of Code internships -- a suggestion I agree with.  Is there a Tigris imposed deadline which makes "before" the only option?

As far as the 0.22 schedule goes, I'm presuming that that needs to be replanned anyway, independent of other factors, since the scheduled release date is 6 days away and we haven't even started alpha test yet.  Since we have at least one project corruption bug in 0.20, it seems unwise to delay 0.22 too much and it would certainly be desirable to get it "in the can" ahead of any SCM changes (and hopefully before the SoC starts).

Subject: [argouml-dev] Conversion of the argouml projects to subversion

Hello all!

A couple of weeks ago I planned the conversion from CVS to Subversion for somewhere in the beginning of July. This was well after the 0.22 release.

Now someone suggested that it would be a good idea to move it up to have it done before the Summer of Code work begins. That would mean ASAP.

There is a risk involved that I will not have enough time to rewrite the build-release scripts and that the 0.22 release is delayed because of this but I think I can handle it.

What do you think? I guess it will take the Tigris crew between a couple of days from when we tell them to do it until when it is complete and during that time, just small work should be going on because there is a risk that it cannot be commited back if the conversion occurs.

What do you think? Is it a good idea to do this ASAP?
