Hello,
And thank you all for your ideas and support. I will do my best to 'tailor' an application that best answers the community's needs. I will only be able to type the application during the weekend because it's a rather rough period at school with the projects and all.

Regards,

I would love this too. I see ArgoUML as being of particular
    interest to
UML learners rather than UML experts (experts probably already
    have Rose
or something else). Students will want something cheap/free that they
can use to grasp the basics with, focusing mainly on the sketching
    rather than the syntax.

I currently don't use ArgoUML at work for quick sketches because it
takes longer than in a drawing package or on paper.

this is really a problem...
at least when comparing a specialized tool (ArgoUML) with a generic tool (a drawing package)

it would be nice to compare ArgoUML GUI with other tools and improve ours.
but I also agree that localized changes in the current gui are better than redesigning it from scratch...

On other applications I've seen the use of a basic/advanced mode
    option
in the bottom right corner of the GUI. In 'basic' mode the
    interface is
vastly simplified. Perhaps this is an option for ArgoUML.
