Worked for a major player in the mortgage software industry targetting broker and lending institutions. Basically, we had a client-server application that handled the complete lifecycle of the data associated with a mortgage. I specialized in writing server-side comms plug-ins that pulled/merged credit reports from bureau, submitted data to various underwriting agencies like FannieMae and FreddieMac, and other third-party satellite mortgage services. Basically moving data over the wire (securely).
