Well then...

I think this thread has gone on for some time and seems to have settled
down. We probably have enough candidates. Gris summarized the status
earlier but I think it will help to do something slightly more formal. I
think I'll try moving on with what I suggested. I will start a slightly
more formal thread to identify the favorite. This will be more clear than a
mixed discussion with preferences. If people do not like the style of the
thread I will start, we can figure out another way.
