Nit pick? Hardly, and I think being precise is actually important.  But
to clarify: OOo is not by any means an entirely Sun project.  To be
sure, a goal is to include more of the community, volunteer or
otherwise, in getting things done. Making Erwin a co-lead is a
significant step in this direction.
