Stop being difficult Louis. I asked a sensible question. You started out the thread saying that Erwin had a lot of experience. That's great. I replied that it was also desirable for OOo to shift more towards being volunteer run and less of a Sun project. You replied that making Erwin co-lead would mean that more of the community is included. And I'm asking you to justify that assertion. Just tell us why you think your proposed candidate would be a step towards including more of the community.- As Erwin is part of the community (as well as Sun is)?
- As Erwin is active contributing to the project for years now, in business elevant areas?
- As Erwin does not do this in the name of Sun but in its own (and the communitie's) name?
Yes, I know, that Sun has a very strong position within the project. But as long, as there is nobody who will do the job better (or at least as well), what is the point of the discussion? Do you think there is (not might be) a better canidate than Erwin (a candidate that will accept the nomination)
