Hi

Also there (for extensions), it could be usefull to allow a large group of
non-paying extension projects and also open up to sponsors if they want
to pay to get a more prominent position on the web site.

This is very dangerous imho
OOo Extensions has to support and avertize high quality stuff, not being
dependant of any 'pressure'

OOo Extensions have to be designed with 'sources' (repositories ar linux
distibutions by example)
- OOo (by default)
- OOo-earning-Money
- Company 1 (added by user)
- Company 2 (added by user)

may be a post-metadata on extensions telling "money given
back" and then be listed in an other category (or with a special icon)

This is rough idea that can be technically discussed on [EMAIL PROTECTED] list
