Could you check the MINA documentation how to do this with MINA only,
to check if its possible in MINA itself.
We are still on Mina 1.x as 2.0 has not been released yet. So you
should check with Mina 1.1 first.

Yes it should be naturally fit for a TCP component. So please create a ticket.
