The 2024 committee considered the following factors when choosing the
location:

1. Production cost (venue rental + services). 2024 was a reboot

over Code is not positioned) so we are starting with sponsors from
scratch.  2025 is is a slightly better place since the 2024
conference
made
the European version of C/C visible to some sponsors and
participants.
2. Easy to get to by either train or airport (giving priority to
train,
since we expect most attendees to come from EU and only a few from
North
America).

3. A city/area where it is easy to walk to nearby restaurants/bars so
that
attendees would run into each other after conference hours.

4. A nice city that people would be interested in visiting, and
probably
never been to.

So if you have opinions and/or ideas please speak up.
