Hrmmm, I think you can figure out which devices are currently connected using system_profiler -detailLevel basic
The bb10 entry is under PlayBook (en5) and the playbook entry is under PlayBook (en3) (not sure if the en# changes or not). Also, those entries should all fall under the "Network" stuff. In any case, if you look for those, there'll be a field that should give you the ip address of the device. Looks like you can make a quick script to grep for that stuff!
