   Thanks @vp340  for digging into this. I agree with @reta  here: closing all 
streams in postClose() and keeping the close failure as a suppressed exception 
is the right behaviour, since that suppressed exception carries accurate 
information. Skipping the flow-through close leaves the transport stream open, 
and only the second close() would close it, which may never happen once the 
fault chain has switched streams. With #3555, writes after close fail straight 
away, so I think that covers the concern without the extra state.
