== End of Support Announcement - Java 6 The Apache DeltaSpike team has decided to begin dropping support for Java 6. The next release, 1.6.0 is currently planned to be the last minor release to support Java 6. Patch fixes on 1.6.x will continue to support it, but our next minor release (1.7.0) will require Java 7 at a minimum.
