I think remaining an email discussion list is better. Besides the spam, the list is so low traffic that email is better. Going to a site, logging in, checking a forum every day is a waste of time when there is maybe only 30 real messages on this list this month.
The only problems now are 1) spam and 2) the slowness of reading the list on the website. I've offered to "moderate" the list by only approving non-spam (if that's possible). Right now, I have to check the list over the web because my ISP filters it out. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
