I don't think there is going to be a Mac version of OOo2.0 any time soon, is there?
The way things are looking, we may never have one.
grrr ;) Why do you say that. We are going to test the beta at the same time for Mac, FreeBSD, Linux PPc at the same time as the other plateforms. Please support this big effort our porting team has done.
Eric Bachard, Eric Hoch, Pavel, Maho, Florian, etc, have spent hours porting those plateforms, they need all our support any time.
Sophie, Jean, what would you say to providing install guides for NeoOffice/J ? They may not be "official", but Neo/J is OOo's best chance on the Mac.
Certainly not if we don't support our porting team first. Neo/J is 99% of X11 Mac porting and only 1% from the Neo/J team. Understand that I'm not against them, I respect any body choices, but the effort made by the OOo team should be honored first.
I'm sure they'd also appreciate being included. Thoughts?
Sure, but they could cooperate too in that case :)
Kind regards Sophie
Cheers,
