I am still waiting for some feedback. I know that there is activity on
installation on Macs but it appears to be rather chaotic as the moment.
I am looking in other areas for help on this but not having a Mac myself
does put a bit of a damper on progress. Further delays have also
happened due to a death in my immediate family. Soon I hope.

I did like the install instructions for RPM-based Linux. Unpack and
rpm -Uvih *.rpm. Windows install on XPPro was similarly quick and easy.
