Hmm, from my box with FF1.5 under CentOS4 the bubbles work very well.
I am using FF2 on Ubuntu. Maybe it's a bug in the FF2 gecko engine
(that's also used by Galeon).
I tried it with Firefox, Galeon, and Konqueror on Linux
all with the same result: without nav: ok, with nav: broken.
In Opera (Linux), it *always* works correct.
I use noscript and with JS disabled the bubbles do not work using
http://documentation.openoffice.org/index_0.htnl and behaviour is the
same as nonav.
Yes, with noscript they sholdn't work at all
