Hi all,
there is actual only an English overview-site for the docs
inside the OOo-Wiki.
If we put not only documentations in this language in the wiki,
I think we need also pages that lists these
nat-lang-documents, didn't we?
Yes, you're right.
I am dreaming ;-) of a real time switching solution that
allows one to switch languages on a certain wiki page
which at the same time would it make easy to localize a page.
Unfortunately, for the method to work easily, all wiki pages
would need to have the same name. Fortunately, there is
a mediawiki mechanism to display a title that is different
than the wiki page name. Unfortunately, it only works for
versions > 1.7 or so. We currently run 1.6 but looking
into upgrading the wiki engine soon.
I've created an example page here:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/Dashboard/TestPage
If we don't follow a scheme we'd need to keep a
matching table or just generally point people to native lang
doc pages like done on the documentation web front page.
