Excellent work.
And a big thank you to Deiter for the original work...(we still need to
revisit having more advanced remote access too, but first things first...)
Knowing that we might expect other forms of remote access, is
"shell.remote" the best name for this subproject?
This gets us back to our naming debate that started on the PAX Logger,
should we just give our subprojects names or should we try to categorize
them in some fashion? Categorizing is difficult because it can feel
forced, but also we don't always know in advance that we need
categories, so at some point we might find that we need to rename our
artifacts and since our artifact names match our package structure, this
can be painful to clients.
In this regard, just having names is better, because we don't have to
worry about it changing.

Hi all,
At long last, I am pleased to announce that the simple remote shell
module contributed by Deiter Wimberger (many thanks to you at this
place!) is now part of the Apache Felix project. It can be found in
the source trunk as the shell.remote module [1].
I also created a simple module documentation at [2] which should also
appear on our site as part of the Subproject documentation.
I also have deployed a first snapshot of this.
In terms of "release-often-release-early" I would like to cut a
release of this bundle sometime soon. To ease the release process, I
would like to ask you to quickly have a look at the NOTICE file for
any glitches. Thanks.
Enjoy !
Regards
Felix
