Duplex, The Mifos Initiative previously owned the Mifos X codebase which is now being transitioned over as the Apache Fineract project. So members of our global Mifos community will be mentoring for both Mifos Initiative and Apache Fineract for GSOC. MIfos Initiative will contain projects built on top of the Fineract platform such as mobile apps, web apps, or modules while projects for Apache Fineract will be directly developing on the Fineract platform. To learn more about Fineract, please see: *Mifos X is becoming an Apache Project!* We have been accepted into their Incubator program and the Mifos X platform will now be known as Apache Fineract. If you're a developer building on the platform, that means you'll now be contributing to Fineract and not Mifos X.
