We have one female committer of a total 50 committers.

We have zero female PMC members of 27 [1].

Otherwise, its an anglo eye (mine) going over contributor names in JIRA.

Hmm... I tried searching "women tech" meetup within 50 miles of the center
of the universe (San Francisco) and turned up some startup thing-a-ma-jig
(there is probably one of these in every town across the country since
'innovation' is going to save the world) and a ruby meeting.  If any one
has suggestions here, add them to this thread.
