Yes we are trying to move to new plugins but while putting the patch in a
branch we should also strive to be on a latest possible source. This way we
could avoid opening of older addressed issues. Even migration would be easier
as the srcs of master and branch would be in sync. Not much of functionality is
missing but more of bug fixes like tycho build [HDT-5], unresolved
refs[HDT-11], issues related to dependencies[HDT-15], new map reduce API [HDT-
21] etc.
If we merge this in the branch from commit
0a0744f645bad8b646bafb4f1261bdbf2ddce70a, then we will go back to Jan on that
branch. I would say then may be we can add the src in as a separate module
rather merging it in existing src. Then extract out things from it. I mean why
to add complexity of merging this with HDT src on the first hand if we are
going that back.
