yes, I run Apache on NetWare.

I didnt mention it as negative but only to explain why the code is 300kb; 
and it's very useful when the module doesnt run as on NetWare...

If you want to help me a bit in finding out why it doesnt work with NetWare feel free 
to contact me directly...

PS: I have also another issue with mod_gzip together with a counter module: when 
mod_gzip is loaded the counter increments 2 times every access (true on all platforms, 
but maybe the counter isnt clean).
