No, an edited version of them is doing a poor job of occasionally being manually used to update our mailing lists. I just ran into that problem again today when I looked at wadi-dev at incubator, which does not yet appear in the archives because the scripts don't actually work. They really need to be updated so that they pick up all the archives in a dir tree automatically -- something we could not do at the time, but can now that all of our public archives are in a single tree.
If I had spare time, I would love to remove ZSH :)
