Thanks for the feedback Robin, Talat, and JB! @Robin I agree, the review process should ensure the bar is high enough, whether the post is a cross post (i.e. also posted elsewhere) or solely hosted on the Iceberg blog. We don't need to require "exclusiveness" for a community post. That said, cross-posts are more prone to being influenced by third party agendas and marketing. Iceberg community posts should reflect the community and be stripped as much as possible from perspectives which do not reflect the Iceberg community.
Just to summarize what we discussed so far: - Add Iceberg community posts to existing blogs page (https://iceberg.apache.org/blogs/) - Links to community posts coexist with current links to externally hosted posts - Community posts are hosted directly on the Iceberg website - Community posts are not company-affiliated - Community posts needs to reflect the Iceberg community - Example topics: Release announcements, new features, deep dives, use cases Let me know if I missed anything.
