Hi,
we refreshed using the console command on the bundle ID:

karaf@root> refresh 88

I've tested it on Karaf 2.4.1 and ServiceMix 5.3.0 (which uses Karaf
2.4.0), I think Giuseppe uses Karaf 2.3.x

Honestly I didn't know refresh could be used without ID, I'll try it later.
