Hello everyone,

a little bit late, wanted to get the PR in good shape and had other
responsibilities too.
Anyway, here is a PR [1] that updates examples to 10.0.0 version.
Once merged we set 10.0.x as stable and anyone can refer users to this
branch with examples for 10.0.0 release.
Already got some nice review some thanks to those involved, much
appreciated!
