The release doc is a bit of a mess and mostly just a place holder but is linked of the site.

Chris,
I have a release process doc started based on a few examples I've
found. I found however that trying to document without actually having
done it once very difficult. This is one of the reasons I'm
recommending a release so that I can do it and document what was required.
Kevin.

+1 from me and yes, a [DISCUSS] would have been fine.

Mainly to indicate that you are discussing it, but not to block you
from doing it. However, in the meanwhile, one thing you may want to
focus on Kevin is creating a ReleaseProcess doc like this one:

https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OODT/Release+Process

And putting on the wiki to let folks know what steps you are executing.
Yes I know this is documented in general (in various places). However,
having
a project specific release doc, with simply the steps is great too.

Cheers!
Chris

Hi Everyone,

I would like to propose creating a Knox 0.2.0 release. My reasons for
wanting a release at this time are:

1) We won't know for certain what is required for a release until we
try
it.
2) The incubation docs recommend to release as soon as possible.
3) We have external people interested in finding out more about Knox.
4) I hope a release can help us recruit more external contributors.

The vote will close on Monday, April 1st at 1pmPT/4pmET.

[ ] +1 Create an Apache Knox Gateway 0.2.0 release
[ ] +0 Don't care.
[ ] -1 Don't create an Apache Knox Gateway 0.2.0 release because...

Kevin.
