Hi,

the fact is that the other languages do perform translation on their own and submit the translated files to Ivo/Vladimir or Pavel once they are done. For the languages I listed below it is a bit more complicated since Sun releases the below languages and usually a collaboration between Sun internal translation efforts and Community efforts need to be well scheduled and coordinated upfront.... and this is what I am trying to do here.

Which language(s) are you specifically interested in?

The Sun/Globalization team (in a few cases in collaboration with some
N-L communities) will be working on the below languages:
French, Italian, German, Swedish, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch,
Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Korean, Japanese, Hungarian,
Polish However, if you wish to contribute to the translation work for the
above listed languages just drop me an email specifying the volume you
could translate (500, 1000, 2000 words....) from October 12th to October
22nd. Please let me know by October 2nd if you wish to contribute to one of
the above languages so that I can make the necessary arrangements.

I want to ask how other language can be added to this list? What are the circumstances?
