Hi Mathias
There is no structure to handle SpellChecker updates and i do it when time
So I wonder how good this works for all the possible patches we might
get or already got. Laurent, do you think that this feasible?
Who feels responsible for issues assigned to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"?
Can we (means: all people interested in the linguistic project) do
something to improve the current situation?
The problem is that I could (if time) take care of french entries (btw,
there is some work actually being done at the french level on the aff
file) but not of the other
The main problem is : to be responsible of a patch, you should
understand it. And a linguistic patch on a dictionnay of a foreign
language is something you can not control.
So I would say that nativ-lang leaders (by default) would be responsible
of validating the changes of .aff and .dic files. Then at the
linguistic, we could take car of them as black boxes
Moreover aff file magic can lead ton strange results so you have to test
this carrefully
